Management of Personal Data

Our Brokerage Firm ensures strict compliance with the obligations arising from texts aimed at the protection of personal data, in particular, Law n° 78-87 “Informatique et libertés” brought into compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) by Law n°2018-493 of June 20, 2018 relating to the protection of personal data.

When using the site, the following information may be collected: the URL of the links through which the user has accessed the site, the user’s access provider, your contact details using the contact form.

In any case, UNION INDUSTRIELLE only collects personal information relating to the user for the purpose of certain services offered by the website. Users supply this information with full knowledge of the facts, particularly when they enter it themselves. Users of the site are informed whether or not they are required to supply this information.

The data requested and collected is necessary for us to be able to respond usefully to your requests. We respect the principle of minimization, and only ask for and process data that is necessary for the above purposes or required by law.

No personal information concerning the user of the site is published without the user’s knowledge, exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold on any medium whatsoever to third parties. Only the assumption of the purchase of UNION INDUSTRIELLE and its rights would allow the transmission of the said information to the eventual purchaser who would in turn be bound by the same obligation of conservation and modification of the data with respect to the user of the site.

Our independent brokerage firm acts as data controller, determining the purposes and means of processing the personal data collected, and as such assumes responsibility for the collection and processing of such data.

You have the right to information, access and portability, rectification, deletion, limitation and opposition to the use of your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data.
However, this right of withdrawal is limited to our ability to meet our legal or contractual obligations to you and the insurers we work with.

Our firm is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. For any request to exercise one of these rights, questions or complaints about your data, you can send us a signed letter accompanied by a copy of your ID, or use the contact form with “RGPD Complaint” in the subject line.
If you feel, after contacting us, that your rights regarding your personal data are not being respected, you can make a complaint to the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés (CNIL) online, or in writing to the following address: CNIL 3 place de Fontenoy ; TSA 80715 ; 75334 Paris cedex 07.

Your data collected when using this site and its functionalities (contact form) is kept for a maximum of three (3) years from the date of collection of the data or the last contact from the prospect. If you are or become a customer of our company, your data will be transferred to our company’s customer file and kept until the end of the applicable statute of limitations, which begins to run on the day the contract is terminated.
Furthermore, in accordance with our legal obligations relating to the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, your data is kept for 5 years after termination of the mandate.

Hyperlinks and cookies

The site contains a number of hypertext links to other sites, set up with the authorization of UNION INDUSTRIELLE. However, UNION INDUSTRIELLE is not in a position to check the content of sites visited in this way, and consequently assumes no responsibility in this respect.

Consumers’ right to oppose telephone canvassing

If you are a consumer and do not wish to be the subject of commercial canvassing by telephone, you can register free of charge on an opposition list against telephone canvassing By registering on this list, you are prohibited from being canvassed, except in the case of a pre-existing contractual relationship.
